Who are we?
The Bakery Church is a church plant in Memphis, TN that was birthed from the leadership's time spent with, "The 42nd Generation." G42 Leadership Academy is a Christian non-profit dedicated to inspiring, training and teaching a generation of people to bring the Love of Christ to communities around the world. We are a church that desires that: to bring the Love of Christ to the City of Memphis.
What do we want to build?
Quite simply, The Bakery Church desires to build a biblical community of Christ Followers with the Love of Jesus at the center. We want to see God's Kingdom brought to earth. We want to live every day intentionally to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We believe that lives become transformed by the Love of God when they are invested in and loved on, by Jesus himself and the surrounding body of believers.
What does this look like?
Well, The Bakery Church is an expression of the hearts of those saying "Yes" to this venture. The Church is located in a home that desires to have open doors and open hearts to bring individuals in. Breaking bread together and sitting together at the dinner table is a powerful thing; life happens around meals, life happens around intimacy, everyday activities and depth of relationships. The Bakery will meet in a home around meals, prayer, teaching, worship, bonfires, birthdays, life's celebrations and its difficulties. We believe Life in Jesus Christ is something to celebrate, so let's do that!
